[Victory] - oliver/george
for starfishchick. hey! the twins are the same age i am. *hearts* the hp lexicon.

To Hogwarts they were a unit, indivisible. On the pitch they were a team of their own, human Bludgers for Gryffindor. Few had tried to tell them apart and even fewer were successful. Oliver, though, knew very well which twin was George and which was not, who had the kinder eyes and timely words of comfort.

Oliver planned a surprise attack, slipping in the shop quietly and watching George finish a sale. When he saw Oliver standing by the door, he dashed 'round the counter, capturing him in a fond embrace, his words soft in Oliver's ear, "About bloody time".

This is just so sweet and intimate. I've never had a real feel for Oliver Wood, but pairing him with George suddenly makes him work for me. I am so very fond of both Weasley twins. It's nice to see just one of them, I must admit. Lovely.

when i was researching . . .something for the drabble series, i guess . . . i read this wee essay thingy on the hp lexicon about george, which made it much easier for me to separate them in my brain :)

now even -i- want more oliver/george. oops. :)
