lalalalahobbits.

people. i spent so much money today. you have no idea.

(i cannot wait for bend it like beckham to be released on dvd)

((that had nothing to do with anything))

i got up - a miracle in itself since i forgot to set the alarm - at the crack o'dawn to go tutor (that is, show person the age of my mother how to create and upload a webpage). then to sandpoint to meet chickliterati for the seattle public library book sale. tres cool. i was very good, actually, holding back for most of the sale only to lose all self control at half price books and the uw bookstore *shame*. but, hey, 10% back at the end of the year from the uw. *justifyrationalize*

but, i have pretty new (used) books and cds and - the true indulgence - a tolkien box set. alan lee covers, not the dreaded film covers.

as if i didn't have enough to read already.

also found three kings used on dvd. thus, cheap. thus, jaci go "squee!" and scare chickliterati.

oh well.

i wrote this last night. miranda/liv for the [livejournal.com profile] contrelamontre predawn challenge. i hope that was the challenge. eep.

i love this icon. dom!hand + veal. mmm. veal. luke doucet. cute canadian boys. aw jeah.

*looks woefully at neglected d*land*

fuck. it.

*wanders off to participate in Real Life . . or watch hobbits. it's a toss-up*

I Blame this all on Carey. ;)

It's her fault I walked out of B&N with Harriet the Spy and the Borrowers ;)

And now I have my Anne of Green Gables on my desk to be read again. :)

Did you see my Anne Icons?

oh, those are cool! how long will they be up? my laptop is down, but i'd love some of those bases to play with once i have a new ac adapter.

They'll be up for a long time. I usually leave them in the communities (well until I find people remote linking them, then I'll take them down)

I'm going to make a page for the bases too eventually when I get around to it. :)

I can always email them to you if you want. :)

it's kind of like how I wanted to be Laura Ingalls when I was 9 and 10.

I found a seamstress who is making me a Harry potter Robe...after that maybe I'll see how much it would cost to make a little house outfit that could very well be used as Anne. :) Just replace the hat. :)

Hee. I wish I had been there - I would have squeeeed! right along with you. I squeee a lot, but doing it on my own isn't as much fun as I imagine it would be in a group of like-minded squeers. :)
