oh. um. not dead yet.

because [livejournal.com profile] dorrie6 seems to want to know these things - [livejournal.com profile] open_on_sunday contributions. crossover challenge (again) for which i am a whore. i did these mostly to see if i could. i was pleasantly surprised by the m&c one.

may they never meet. master and commander crossover. darla/angelus, aubrey/maturin. (jack's pov. the only thing non-buffy people need to know is that the woman & the irish dude are vampires. got it? good.)

(and)

paging through elysium (gawd, i hate coming up with drabble titles.) good omens. university!giles, aziraphale.

on a related note (for the sailors) the two drabbles at [livejournal.com profile] _stephenmaturin are back, but f-locked. they're incredibly mediocre writing, but the ideas are there. i need some o'brian that i can mark up, dammit. this library copy is not cutting it (though the 28 day renewal was a beautiful thing.) *makes plans to comb the used bookstores*

um. i don't really have anything else to add. i get up. i go to bed. go me.

(!!! a spaced crossover!)

For used bookstores don't forget to try Half.com (http://www.half.com) .. used books a-go-go and some of them dirt cheap. Plus, I think your first order has free shipping.

Master and Commander (http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpidEQ1168003200AMPdomain_idEQ1856AMPmeta_idEQ1), Far Side of the World (http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpidEQ1168004712AMPdomain_idEQ1856AMPmeta_idEQ1). Both for in the $6/$7 range..

excellent. i'm actually in the city, so there are a few used bookstores i will hit up tonight or tomorrow, but if they fail me it's good to have options.

the one closest my apartment had, like, the last seven novels in fantastic condition, but, you know, i'd like to begin at the beginning. and they had the world of jack aubrey, which makes up for a number of sins :)

BWAHAHAHA!! I actually read that one! I LOVE Spaced! They refuse to play the second series here for some reason, and I must get it on DVD because I need to see Mike attempt to invade Paris in a stolen tank. :P

Um... Hi. You don't know me but I've seen you around in my friends' LJ all the time. (Especially Strawberry's) Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... I just can't stand it anymore. I need to friend you. :) If that's okay with you of course. I am in no way asking you to friend me back. I just hear my friends bragging about your greatness all the time, so I decided to come over here and ask if I could friend you. :)

Fin.

the rumors of my greatness have been . .greatly . .exaggerated. however, you are more than welcome to join me on this strange trip.

or, in other words, hi! c'mon in!
