the moon is low tonight

so. i wrote something - [discovery] - up at [livejournal.com profile] _stephenmaturin.

actually remembered part of a dream last night this morning. why? because the dude in it (one i don't know, thank god) was a terrible kisser. good lord. i'm going to trade in my brain for a working model.

hey, [livejournal.com profile] belovedsnail? i'm attempting the whole remus-pov-in-the-patience-arc thing, but i'm fuzzy on the timeline and the status of his relationship with patrick then. and. stuff. so, if there's something i should know tell me, or i'll start making it up :P

*COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED ABOUT YOU WRITING REMUS POV, OMG*

okay. from what Jackie's told me about the Epic, part II, Remus breaks up with Patrick before they leave to tour. so yeah, Remus is technically unattached during the whole patience arc, but Sirius doesn't know that.

(of course, the existing stories were written before i knew that Patrick existed, and i should really go back and redo them, but i'm too lazy.)

but any other questions you have, feel free to ask, and i'll answer them or make Jackie answer them or whatever. i am so, so thrilled that you're writing this.

The tide lapped below him, and he squinted out at the sea, hat perched on his knee, pencil forgotten in his hand. The air around him changed, and he smelled roses and heard laughter, sweet and high, twisting through him. He closed his eyes against sun and memory, drifted in and out of sleep, felt a strong hand at his elbow. The pressure of each finger distinct.

Jack.

He started, birds scattering at his sudden movement. He was alone.

wow. Lovely images. I really liked the 'pencil forgotten in his hand'
for some strange reason. It spoke to me.
*hugs*

Oh, Jaci, light of my sorry little existence.. how I love your Stephen. :)

Hey, I'm thinking of doing a companion piece to that.. would you mind? I'll run it by you before posting to make sure it's staying true to your brain if you'd like...

Watching for Stephen, perhaps.
