:: feeling tookish: reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture

I wrote a tiny CQL thing here in the fication (or here on AO3) & it was Extremely Satisfying to write a three sentence drabble, so please go add more prompts because none of the unfilled ones are speaking to me, thank you.

I feel like I had Things I should post about over here, but what...

1) I did finally post my 2019 film wrap-up (#bonghive for life)

2) Chinese class is both really fun and really hard. I can see the shape of what I need to do now, though; I just need to do it. I'm getting there. It's the first time I've been in a class of all adults - even grad school had babies who had never had a real job - and it's really nice to be in a group where everyone's like "my time and money are valuable, who cares if we look dumb, let's just do the thing". Which, I mean, we all still turn bright red & don't want to go up to the front of the room and all that, but we do it and it's fine.
