[fandom snowflake][#1 introductions]

gloss was & since my fannish life has been revitalized lately (god damn you CQL), and I’m home sick today so what better time to talk about myself.
nb I spend exponentially more time on my phone than on my laptop, so though I do check in here a few times a week, I am on Twitter all day long; please feel free to come yell with me there especially if your life has been devoured by Cdramas in general or Xiao Zhan in particular.
I’m an old lady of fandom (frankly amazed to have lived past 40), an eternal Seattleite, a municipal worker (hence the phone-not-computer as everything at work is a public record). I have my MLIS & I finally finished paying it off (but also all student loan debt should be cancelled amen.)
I’m kind of a film nerd. I post semi-regularly on my film blog, wicked jaws (or at least semi-regularly when it’s not a year eaten by depression, thanks 2019), & I was just talked into joining letterboxd. I’m a year-round volunteer for SIFF & I regularly see over 200 films a year in the theater, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for TV.
About a year ago I started learning Chinese, and though it wasn't because of cql/mdzs, that has certainly been further motivation to keep going. I started on Duolingo (320+ day streak, baby!) & last week I started taking actual classes.
I’ve written in too many fandoms to count (I tried), & it’s basically all on AO3 because I love attention. I started in lotrips in 2003 & now I’m dabbling in cqlrps so I guess nothing has changed.
Oh, I also have a pillowfort here, but I pretty much just use it for crossposting fannish content from here in a desperate and failed attempt to find other fans.
